This beautiful 1908 triplex marks the beginning of our multifamily journey. We found this building while driving for dollars in SLC’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. This property had significant room for value add after seeing the unused spaces and outdated interior.
The natural beauty of the building made the rehab easy since we had natural light, charming high ceilings and hardwood floors to work with. We added new tile in the kitchen, completely renovated the bathrooms, new laundry rooms in each unit and upgraded to central AC.
To further help define the space, we staged the property and had professional photos done. Although the renovation was extensive, the property leases itself, with annual vacancies at less than 1% and the entire building rented the weekend following rehab completion.
